Farm Share Agreement
Below is our farm share agreement. It is our promise to you, and by joining our farm share, you also agree to the agreement.
Please review it and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
Communication
We will communicate with you on a regular basis with what is happening at the farm. Before May, e-mails will be at 1-2 times/month. Once the growing season starts ~late May, e-mails will be every week. I will update you with what’s happening in the farm, also prompting you to select your veggies. E-mail communication will stop by November, unless you subscribe to our mailing list.

Privacy & Confidentiality
We will not disclose any personal information you provide to us (i.e. e-mails, address etc…) to anyone else, and will only used by us for the purposes of servicing you as a customer this year.

Sign Up - Cancellation
Cancellations are fully refundable until May 1, 2024. After May 1, payments are no longer refundable.

Crop Damage (Pests, Weather, Disease)
In a Farm Share, the farmer and the members share the risks and rewards with growing food.

You agree to understand that any form of crop damage is almost unavoidable at a farm, and that you may receive imperfect vegetables, or have a vegetable harvest window cut short, or may not have a particular vegetable available at all of because weather, pest, or disease.

We will do our best to mitigate crop damage and provide you with quality produce. In case of crop damage, we promise that you will always receive your investment’s worth. On occasion, we may source from our neighbor farm to mitigate crop damage or shortage. These farms also follow ecological and/or organic practices.

Growing Inputs
We will never use any form of pesticides or synthetic fertilizers, or any inputs that are harmful to the soil.

Pick Up Policy (if applicable)
You agree to pick up your order at the day and time you selected. Failure to do so may result in the loss of your order. If you are unable to pick it up, please advise us the day before and we can cancel and issue a refund. Others can also pick it up in your place. Otherwise we will donate your food to charity - Georgetown Bread Basket, Georgetown Community fridge at the Georgetown library, or to a private group that provides food to those in need.
